Dougs Custom Lures Micro Finesse Jig Heads (2 Pack)
"The micro jig heads are what I reach for when everything else is getting waved off. Clear water, post-front fish, heavily pressured bass — this is the bait that still gets bit. I like having both weights in the same pack because I can start with the 1/16 oz on a slow fall and pick up the 1/8 oz when I need to get a little deeper without changing my whole setup. It's a simple bait that solves a real problem."
Two Weights. One Pack. Built For The Finesse Bite.
The Doug's Custom Lures Micro Finesse Jig Heads 2-Pack gives you two compact skirted jigs ready to fish out of the pack — your choice of two 1/16 oz, two 1/8 oz, or one of each. The micro size and light weights are purpose-built for finesse situations: clear water, pressured fish, cold fronts, and any time bass or walleye want something subtle.
The full silicone skirt fans out on the fall and pulses on the pause, delivering real jig action even on the slowest retrieves on light tackle. The 1/16 oz is the lightest head in the DCL lineup — built for ultra-slow shallow presentations and suspended fish. The 1/8 oz covers deeper water and situations where you need a more controlled fall without going heavier than the finesse situation calls for.
Having both weights in one pack is a genuine on-the-water advantage — you can switch fall rate without re-rigging an entirely different setup. Keep trailer size proportional: smaller is better on a micro head.
Two jigs per pack — your choice of two 1/16 oz, two 1/8 oz, or one of each. The two-weight option covers a slow, subtle shallow fall with the 1/16 oz and a more controlled deeper drop with the 1/8 oz, all in a single pack. Switch between them on the water without buying separate products or retying a different rig.
The compact skirted head is purpose-built for finesse — small enough to look natural to educated fish in clear water, but still carries a full silicone skirt that fans out on the fall and pulses on the pause. You get the subtlety of a finesse presentation with the movement of a skirted jig.
The lightest head in the lineup — the right call for ultra-slow presentations in shallow water, suspended fish, and post-frontal conditions when bass want the most subtle possible fall. On light fluorocarbon it sinks almost imperceptibly. That slow fall is the whole point.
Covers situations where you need to reach deeper structure, maintain bottom contact in light current, or get the jig down faster without sacrificing the finesse profile. Just enough weight to work 8–15 feet of water effectively, slow-drag rock and gravel, or hold in current while keeping the skirt moving naturally.
- Having both weights in one pack is a genuine on-the-water advantage. Fish the 1/16 oz on a slow fall in shallower water, then pick up the 1/8 oz to reach deeper structure on the same cast sequence — no retying, no switching rigs.
- The micro profile shines hardest in clear water and post-front conditions when bass have lockjaw. Smaller bait, slower fall, less resistance to commit. If you've been getting follows or short strikes on a standard finesse jig, drop down to the micro.
- Walleye respond well to the 1/8 oz dragged slowly over rock, gravel, and hard bottom in clear natural lakes. Match with a natural-toned straight-tail or paddle-tail trailer and keep the retrieve painfully slow.
- The silicone skirt pulses at the slowest retrieve speeds — you don't need to work the rod aggressively to get action. A slow drag with an occasional pause is often all it takes. Let the skirt do the work.
- Light spinning gear in the medium-light range with a fast tip is the ideal match — it loads well on the cast and gives enough sensitivity to feel the tap on the fall, which is subtle at these weights.
